Randi, I miss you. So much. It’s nights like these where I wish you were still here. I’d come pick you up, with a joint in hand, and we’d just take a drive.

This is going to be really depressing, but I was thinking the other day about my absence in Michigan. It’s weird I’ll never be apart of anything over there anymore. (Also, kind of pleasant to think, too) It’s freaking me out how I’m actually out here and I have my own life, finally meeting people that are somewhat trustworthy. I don’t like that you’re not here to share that with me, that we’re not growing and changing together. But I miss you and you’ll always be one of the best friends I’ve ever had.

As much as I miss you, it makes me happy that you’re surviving out there. and making something of yourself. and making good friends. It makes me really happy. I’m hoping that I’ll make it there sometime soon. I feel like my heart belongs in Chicago. and you’ll always be one of my best friends as well. Don’t ever forget that.
